Champion Irrigation Introduces New Check Valve PRS 4” and 6” Pop-Up Spray Bodies, Combining Water-Saving Innovation with Proven Durability

April 15, 2025 – Memphis, TN – Champion Irrigation Products is proud to announce the release of its latest water-saving innovation: the CV PRS 4″ and 6″ Pop-Up Spray Bodies. Designed for durability, performance, and maximum efficiency, these new models combine two essential features, Check Valve and Pressure Regulation (PRS), into one powerful solution.

Engineered to meet the needs of both residential and commercial landscapes, the CV PRS models are built with impact-resistant ABS construction, a stainless steel spring for positive retraction, and a tool-free ratcheting mechanism for easy nozzle pattern alignment. Compatible with all female-threaded nozzles, these spray bodies are available in 4” and 6” pop-up heights with a ½” female NPT inlet.

What sets these models apart is their advanced dual-technology design:

New Check Valve PRS 4” and 6” Pop-Up Spray Bodies

Check Valve (CV): Equipped with a built-in check valve, CV prevents low-head drainage by holding back up to 14 feet of elevation head. This reduces water waste and minimizes wear and tear on system components by preventing water hammering during startup.
Pressure Regulating Stem (PRS): Each unit maintains a consistent 30 PSI at the nozzle (with inlet pressures up to 70 PSI), ensuring optimal performance and uniform water distribution, which is particularly critical for modern high-efficiency nozzles.
